The Harrison's intimate Kings Cross venue hosts gigs most nights of the week

Harrison has live music.

Keeping it Local

Our venue is part of the social fabric of Kings Cross; we believe that a music venue is as much about community as it is about revenue. With this in mind, we take pride in providing a platform for young, emerging artists who are just making their first forays into the industry, as well as more seasoned & established acts.

A range of outstanding local promoters also use the Harrison; such as New Roots, Folk on Monday, Woodburner, Pear O’Legs and Folkroom Records. From small independent labels, to obscure American roots artists, we’re happy to provide a platform for everyone.

From psych-folk to experimental electronica, from hard-bop jazz to garage rock, our audiences are always silent and reverential and everyone loves to perform here. In addition we put on spoken word, literary events, stand-up comedy and cinema.
