Looking for a Christmas meal, party or festive drinks near King’s Cross or St Pancras? The Harrison is an independent pub just a five minute walk from King’s Cross and St Pancras station. Home-cooked festive food, seasonal drinks, and a warm local atmosphere, a great place for Christmas meals, parties and get-togethers of any size.

Christmas Menus & Festive Food

From Wednesday 25th November 1st to Saturday 19th December 2026, we’re serving our Christmas set menu alongside the regular menu –  crackers, mince pies and chocolates included after your meal.

Turkey roast is on both the regular menu and our Sunday roast throughout December.

Everyone’s catered for – alongside the traditional roasts, we do vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten-free dishes, plus gluten-free beer and alcohol-free drinks, so nobody misses out.

Monday & Tuesday: 12–8pm

Wednesday–Friday: 12–4pm

Saturday: 12–8pm

Sunday: Regular roasts, plus turkey with all the trimmings – Last Christmas Roast – Sunday 20th Dec

Whether you’re planning a small table with friends, a festive drinks party, or a full private hire, we’ve got flexible spaces to suit.

Basement Venue – Exclusive Hire

  • Private space for groups of 20+
  • Up to 60 standing or 32 dining
  • Fully decorated for Christmas
  • Play your own music or bring a playlist to set the mood

Main Bar – Tables, Parties & Drinks Bookings

  • Book a small table for a Christmas meal or drinks
  • Larger groups welcome: up to 60 dining or 90 mingling
  • Our usual relaxed, welcoming local pub atmosphere

For drinks parties, you can:

  • Pre-order bar snacks and sharing platters for a set arrival time
  • Pre-order drinks for your group
  • Run a tab, or let everyone pay as they go

 

Booking & Deposits

We take bookings for meals, drinks, or both — from a small table to full private hire. We never close the whole pub for private hire; it wouldn’t be fair on our regulars.

Walk-ins are always welcome, though December gets busy, so booking ahead is a good idea.

A £5 refundable deposit per person secures a Christmas meal booking. We also take deposits for groups of 10 or more – we’ll  give you further info when you enquire. Our cancellation policy is also on this page.

 

Accessibility at The Harrison

We want everyone to feel welcome at The Harrison. It’s an older building, but we’ve made adjustments to help:

  • A pop-up ramp for entry into the main pub
  • Grab handles in both the men’s and women’s ground-floor toilets
  • Gender-neutral and gender-specific toilets
  • We’re not able to offer a fully accessible disabled toilet, due to the age and layout of the building
  • Specific access needs? Let us know in advance and we’ll do everything we can to help

 

Not Just for Christmas

Even during the festive season, The Harrison stays open for regular bookings, our normal menus, and walk-ins. A pint by the fire, a Sunday roast, or a last-minute catch-up — you’re always welcome.

Do you offer vegan, vegetarian, halal or gluten-free Christmas meals?

Yes — our festive and regular menus include vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten-free options.

Can I book just for drinks?

Yes — we take drinks-only bookings as well as dining. Pre-order bar snacks, sharing platters and drinks for your group’s arrival, and run a tab or pay individually.

Is the Christmas menu available every day?

No – the Christmas Menu  runs from November 25th to the 20th  December 2026, at the hours listed above.

Do you accept walk-ins during Christmas?

Yes – though December’s busy, so booking ahead is a good idea if you want to guarantee a table.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes – £5 per person for Christmas meals, refundable. Groups of 15 or more have some additional requirements, which we’ll explain when you enquire.

Do you serve alcohol-free and gluten-free beers?

Yes – alongside cask ales, craft keg beers, wines, spirits, seasonal cocktails, mulled wine, hot toddies, soft drinks and hot drinks.

Is the Harrison Pub family friendly?

Yes – we have high chairs for babies and smaller portions for children on our regular menu as well as a children’s Christmas menu.

Can we play our own music in the basement venue?

Yes — if you’ve booked the basement for exclusive use, bring a playlist or play your own music and set the tone yourselves.
